Objective of the Graduate Schools

The Graduate Schools maintain the guiding principle common to all graduate study: scholarship, the spirit of inquiry as expressed by original studies and training in research, breadth as well as depth in the study of advanced subject matter, ability to communicate results of creative work, preparation for an intellectual career, and mastery of essential techniques. The emphasis is upon the extension of the frontiers of knowledge as well as the transmission of knowledge. The chief purpose of the Schools is to train scholars, research workers and teachers.

The Graduate Schools offer instruction in the following disciplines: Theology, Philosophy and Psychology.  The programs in Peace Studies / Conflict Management and Organizational Management / Diplomacy at the United Nations are included with the School of Psychology at this time.

It is our desire that there also be a School of Art and Architecture.  Preliminary investigation is being done to explore the feasibility of working with the Hatay Museum in Antakya (Antioch). It is our hope that our Jewish, Christian and Islamic students would work together in restoring their heritage on site in Antioch.
